Deaf Havana Myspace

The boys from Deaf Havana are in the process of radically changing their sound and in turn wanted a whole new look to their online presence. This design was a holding Myspace that would show the new logo and remove older content that they no longer wanted online. I worked closely with Tom (drummer) to give the band exactly what they wanted. The design is simple and features the new logo hidden in the crowd in a photograph from the 2010 Slam Dunk Festival.

As part of the band’s new direction, they felt that their logo was too “metal”. Tom Ogden (drummer) worked closely with me until we came up with a new logo that fitted with the band’s new sound. It’s a giant leap from their previous logo and features palm trees, in homage to the “Havana” part of their name.

To go with their Myspace re-design, the band wanted a new logo that would act as a fresh start for their first album release with their new singer. We took inspiration from one of their T-shirt designs and re-drew the logo from that.

My friends The First are gearing up to release their debut album on Small Town Records. They came back to me for a re-design which meant a whole new logo and utilising some great new promo shots from photographer Tom Barnes. This design flowed very quickly and seemed to design itself. It’s both eye catching and suits the band’s sound.

Paige Myspace

The boys from Paige needed a holding design to be put up while they geared up for their upcoming release. We decided to go very simple, but eye catching. We removed the comment, friends and all other sections and simply informed fans of what was coming up. The profile is one of the simplest I have designed, but probably one of my favourites yet!

After creating some eye catching print work for this artist, I was enlisted to help bring life to her Myspace. Her main theme was flowers, which I utilised well in the design and help keep a bright and vibrant feel to the design.

We Caught The Castle Logo

The brief for this logo couldn’t have been more conflicting. They wanted a fairytale castle, with an urban look. I drew a castle and made it look like a stencil, then did the same with the words and created the spray paint effect, which the band loved.

The band asked me to create them a very simple Myspace that would feature their logo as the focal point. We decided to opt for a white and blue design, featuring the band’s single shots and names above the content, which would introduce the fans to the band.

The Skints Myspace

The Skints decided that it was time to upgrade from the boring standard Myspace layout to a custom design. They sent me artwork created for their release and the design was themed from that. The section headers and other items’ inspiration were taken from the artwork provided and it became one of the most colourful Myspace designs that I have done to date.

Advance Pest Services Logo

As well as wanting a website producing, this company needed some branding. I used the theme of the fact that the business targeted pests, which is where the idea for the rat in the target came from.
